Manchester United have reportedly sold midfielder Ashley Young to Inter Milan for £1.3 million. The deal is subject to a completed physical examination. Should it pass successfully, Young will be at the San Siro until the summer of 2021.
Sky Sports Italia first reported the news.
Inter would be the 34-year-old’s fourth professional club, having played for Watford, Aston Villa, as well as Manchester United. He has been at Old Trafford since 2011, where he has scored 19 goals in over 200 appearances for the Red Devils.
He has, however, only played in 18 matches across all competitions for Manchester United this season. He signed a one-year deal with United last February, and was set to leave the club on a free transfer this year.
Inter Milan are currently second in the Serie A, two points behind league leaders Juventus.
