Manchester United have reportedly completed the signing of Sporting Clube de Portugal midfielder — and reigning two-time Portuguese Player of the Year — Bruno Fernandes.
The Red Devils have reportedly paid £47 million for the midfielder, who has scored 64 in 137 matches across all Portuguese competitions. Not only that, he has been capped 19 times for Portugal over the last two-plus years, helping Os Navegadores to the UEFA Nations League title last year.
According to the BBC, Fernandes is more than a No. 10 and will more than likely figure as a No. 8 for Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s squad, which are currently fifth in the Premier League and seven points out of a Champions League spot as it stands.
