The Revolution announced Monday that 2020 second-round SuperDraft selection Keegan Meyer, a goalkeeper, has been signed to Revolution II. The deal is pending approval by USL League One as well as U.S. Soccer.
The 22-year-old was the 43rd overall selection in the annual draft last month, coming to Foxborough from High Point University in North Carolina, where he made 74 appearances and posted 27 clean sheets for the Panthers, as well as receiving three straight All-Big South First Team honors.
As a redshirt senior last fall, Meyer played every minute of the Panthers’ 20 matches, posting a 13-7 record with seven shutouts, 75 saves, and a .743 save percentage.
Meyer’s inclusion to Revs II puts New England’s third-division roster at 11 players. He is currently the lone goalkeeper in the squad.
