The New England Revolution will play four nationally televised tilts in 2021, according to the full schedule released by Major League soccer Wednesday afternoon.
One of those games shown to soccer fans across the country will be played May 16 against defending MLS Cup champion Columbus Crew at Gillette Stadium, with the other three staged away from Route 1.
The Revs’ trip to Columbus on July 3 — the opener for the Crew’s second soccer-specific stadium — will also be nationally televised. The July 17 trip to Atlanta United and the Oct. 24 trip to Orlando City will also be on MLS’ TV partners across the United States.
A total of 34 matches will be played, with 32 played against Eastern Conference opponents. Two will be against the West, with the Revs playing FC Dallas on June 27, before hosting Colorado on Wednesday, Oct. 24.
Nov. 7 is Decision Day, with the Revolution home to Inter Miami.
This year’s schedule will be incredibly unbalanced, with New England playing Chicago Fire, Columbus Crew, DC United, New York City FC, New York Red Bulls, and Philadelphia Union three times each.
In addition, the Revs will play five midweek matches at home, plus five on the road.
