2′ Goal kick by Rice goes out for a throw-in by Chattanooga.

3′ Quinones loses the ball out on the right.

5′ Nice build-up there by Chattanooga after claiming a loose ball in the midfield…. other way, Rivera gets the ball and he goes down in the box. His plea for a penalty falls on deaf ears.

7′ Beattie with a header, saved by Rice.

9′ Presley whistled for a foul after the Revs gave the ball up.

10′ GOAL CHATTANOOGA. A deep drive by center back Jason Ramos after the ensuing free kick is slid over to him. He has a go from 30 or so yards, catches Rice unawares for a heartbeat. Rice gets a finger on it, but it has too much momentum. It gets into the net. That’s now nine unanswered by Revs II opposition. 1-nil to Chattanooga. Revs II are 0-4-1 when conceding first.

14′ Quinones has a nice stop out there on Beattie.

19′ Verfurth with a near-JoGo back pass that, thankfully, had not enough to put a back pass into his own net, Rice pops it down with his chest.

21′ What is going on in the back as Doyle gets a loose ball away from the defenders and rushes in on Rice, puts a shot on, saved.

25′ Nice cross by Quinones after that off-the-ball run, but Chattanooga clears.

26′ Malango with a slide and a kick, it goes toward the far post, bounces, and Mangels gets it. Nice cross by Presley.

30′ Looks like Quinones with a stop to deny Chattanooga in the box… hydration break.

33′ Back underway.

34′ BIG SAVE JOE RICE after Chattanooga works that right side. Ualefi with the hard shot from near the penalty spot.

38′ Free kick to the Revs, quick restart.

42′ Maciel has a nice volley into the box, Chatty wins the first ball, Revs with the second, but Presley nods it weakly.

44′ DOUBLE SAVE BY RICE on Pineda, he has two bites at the apple and can’t get past Rice’s defenses!

45′ Ricketts goes into the book as he takes out Souza…. two minutes minimum.

45+1′ Sousa with a left footer, Mangels rises and pops it over the bar. Corner to the Revs.

45+2′ GOAL REVOLUTION II, and finally, it’s Orlando Sinclair with the header on Presley’s service. 1-1

Sweens’ Halftime Thoughts and some numbers:

Phew. Sinclair breaks the duck and the scoreless streak for Revs II at 258 minutes. Revs II with another slow start there, not getting a real foothold in the match until about the 23-minute mark.

I think Colby Quinones is playing a sneaky good match so far.

48.9 percent possession for Revs II. 84.8 percent passing accuracy. Three shots, all on-target, with two of those coming in first-half stoppage time.

Second Half Underway. Revs II headed toward The Fort.

46′ Soto with a foul on Rivera after really good build-up by the Revs. Free kick about 24 yards from goal. Rivera and Firmino over it.

47′ Kick goes into the wall, but the Revs reclaim it, and Souza with a volley, headed by Firmino, saved by Mangels. Not bad!

51′ Corner to the Revs.

54′ Save Mangels on Presley, Malango gets the rebound… I like what I’m seeing out of the Revs now, getting more physical in the midfield.

55′ Ualefi off for Chattanooga, Zacarias on.

56′ Corner to Chatty. Cleared by Firmino.

61′ Free kick to Chatty after Verfurth is whistled for a foul.

62′ Rice with the save after Pineda drills it.

63′ Rice with a save as Ricketts curls one. Ricketts had gotten past Maciel, no one stepped up to challenge him. Verfurth was first, according to replays.

64′ Save Rice! Pineda again. Seventh save of the night for Rice. That’s a career high.

68′ Verfurth is down, taking a breather. Referee calls for the training staff to come out. Harrison Hall comes out, working on the right quad.

69′ Meny Silva, Hikaru Fujiwara, Tiago Mendonça checking in for Revs II. Malango, Rivera, and Verfurth off. Mendonça into the back line?

71′ Yup, he’s in the back line, and he has the back and forth movement. Firmino with the takeaway thanks to that.

72′ Ricketts is down, he went off-balance with Silva in the duel.

73′ Zacarias tries to split Souza and Bell, fires off-target badly.

75′ Hydration break.

77′ Back underway.

79′ Silva with a drive is wide after some confusion with Mangels off his line.

80′ Pineda fires wide after he had acres of plastic pasture to work with. Souza gets beat on the run, Bell skirts over to try and cut the angle down.

81′ Jaimes on for Beattie.

83′ GOAL CHATTANOOGA. Pineda with the goal on the cross by Jaimes. Pineda’s header clanged off Souza’s leg and in, Rice couldn’t get over in time to stop it. 2-1

87′ Sinclair off, and Everett’s 15-year-old Isaie Louis making his USL League One debut.

89′ Fujiwara gets taken down hard by Pineda, Pineda gets his name taken down into the referee’s book.

90′ Firmino with the bike! It’s wide, though. Great feed by Quinones…. five minutes minimum added on.

90+2′ Presley is shown a yellow piece of plastic.

90+4′ Pineda is down…. and he’s up.

90+6′ Presley with another foul… he gets a telling off.

90+7′ Corner to Chattanooga after the Red Wolves played into the corner. Pettas coming on for the Red Wolves.

Isaac Angking has been downgraded to OUT on the Revolution II injury report.

Chattanooga handed Revolution II a 4-nil defeat a couple of weeks ago. If you want to re-live that horror show, here’s my Match Report from that one.

The Red Wolves can move up a spot to fourth with a victory on the Plastic Pasture tonight. The Red Wolves are 2-2-3 through seven matches.

Defender Jon Bell has the Revs II team lead in passes with 382 so far.

Goalkeeper Joe Rice now leads the league in saves with 25.

Collin Verfurth has 36 clearances, which leads the league.

Chattanooga playmaker Greg Hurst and Marky Hernandez — who scored twice against the Revolution in Tennessee on August 29 — are listed as questionable.

The Red Wolves are coming off a 1-1 draw with Fort Lauderdale.
